Refund policy

Scope

This policy applies to paid programming consulting (scoped projects and advisory retainers) offered by Core Pilot Consulting (Faridah binti Omar, sole proprietorship), SSM 202103883234.

Consumer rights

Nothing here limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 of Malaysia, including access to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims for qualifying disputes up to RM 50,000.

Proposed refund terms (pending business confirmation)

The following baseline applies until superseded by a signed contract:

Advisory retainers

• Unused prepaid hours may be refunded within 7 calendar days of purchase if no advisory session or review has started.
• After work begins, fees are non-refundable except where we fail to deliver agreed services.

Fixed-scope projects

• Deposits are refundable within 7 calendar days of written confirmation if we have not started billable work.
• Milestone payments are non-refundable once the milestone tasks defined in the statement of work have started.
• If we cancel an engagement without cause, prepaid amounts for undelivered work are refunded.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Workshops may be rescheduled with at least five business days’ notice. Late cancellations may forfeit preparation time billed at the agreed hourly rate.

No-shows

Missed meetings without notice may be charged against advisory hours.

How to request a refund

Email info@corepilot.digital or call +60-88-000-1706 with your invoice reference. We respond within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within fourteen business days unless banking rules require longer.
